Students going to Haiti on June 8th

2012. They will train an orphanage on use of oven and cooking

skills. They will leave the oven with the orphanage for use. The process will be filmed.

Day one – Open inspect. Build up. Simple set up. All systems go.

Plan – 35 days to launch (start – 5/3/12). Launch 6/8/12.

• Set up and tear down of oven by students – 5/9/12.

• Cook practice – Kevin McDonald – 5/6/12 (first sunny day). Rice base dishes.

• Cook practice – Students, 5/13/12 – Weather permitting.

• Pack plan – How to ship to Haiti. Working with American Airlines. Looking for a luggage piece

to place in with supplies and base rice (looks like typical passenger suitcase).

• Document training and events. Picture instructions “IKEA” like. My enlist students to draw

based on examples from IKEA products.
