Sogang International Summer College (SISC) invites you to join our creative summer program! Change your life and experience a new culture by taking part in Korea: the Innovative Gateway
to Asia! At SISC world-class scholars and artists await you for a truly unique experience. As a creative program in a great university, we can give you the personal attention and quality you desire in a summer study abroad program.
We offer outstanding academic courses taught by world renowned faculty from a variety of fields: Korean Language, Korean Studies, Art & Technology, IT/Multimedia, East Asian Studies,
Cultural Identity, Ethnic Studies, Humanities, and Economics & Business.
The following features characterize our innovative 2010 SISC program:
1) Korean Immersion Program – Sogang Korean Language Education Center is regarded as thetop Korean language center in the world. Centered on teaching methods and texts developed within the center, the highly respected approach is proven time and again as one of the most effective ways to learn Korean.
2) Creative City of Art & Technology – A creative project-based interdisciplinary educationgrounded on a deep understanding of Art & Technology. Last year, students created their own works to be performed in the 2009 Seoul Design Olympiad and were awarded an official certificatefrom the Mayor of Seoul.
3) Intercultural Festival – A creative cross-cultural celebration of students from all over the world.Events include: performances, media arts, music, art exhibitions, and more!
4) Internship Program – A unique experience in top Korean companies such as Samsung, SK, LG and many others.
5) 3-Day Field Trip – A great opportunity to discover Korean traditional culture and explore theKorean experience outside Seoul.
Various Scholarships will be offered depending on your eligibility.
