1970 SOFRESID acquires 71% of SOFREMINES, BRGM & CHARBONNAGES de FRANCE keep 29%.

1976 SOFREMINES is awarded the General Consultancy Contract for the realisation of the development of the ITAKPE IRON ORE DEPOSIT, by the Ministry of Power and Steel, NIGERIA.

1999 SOFREMINES leaves the SOFRESID Group. New shareholders are Société Civile de SOFREMINES and SDIEM

2003 SOFREMINES joins Guinea MIFERGUI-NIMBA consortium as aminority shareholder

2009 As from the 1st of January 2009, SOFREMINES is part of the TechnipGroup
