CONVENTIONS

In a flat, rainy day, dark room, dull lighting. Very basic room and cheap clothing. Mundane chat. Editing was quite slow cut and the camera work is very basic therefore it reflects the average life of these people.

Gritty , rainy , miserable British school P.E lesson. The dull, grey eye sore weather. The regional working class northern accent. The dirty look of the environment reflects the unglamorous way of British school life.

Teenage, rebellion and separation of youth from society and family. Grotty, dirty working class London house. Working class cockney accent and tacky clothing. Really long drawn out shots that replicate the tough extensive and real shift that people like him go through.

Rough , punishing prison life. Racist side of Britain concerning skin head. Rude British words. Small claustrophobic bare room. Regional accents. Tough treatment of authority to lowers. Slow cuts which reflect the slow churn of the discipline experience to the lower.

Domestic abuse from man to his partner in a working class, cockney environment. The environment is dark and dingy, and language is raw and unrestricted, therefore vicious and real. Handheld camerawork give it a low-level grit feel, like a documentary.
