HISTORY OF SHAH ALAM

• Shah Alam was known as Sungai Renggam and also known as an oil palm estate.

• Later the same area was indentified as Batu Tiga prior to Malaysian independence.

• In 1978, it replace Kuala Lumpur as the capital city of the state of Selangor due to Kuala Lumpur’s incorporation into a federal territory.

• Government and NGOs’ efforts.

• Get to know one’s personal and one’s interest.

• Get to know yourself and start dedicating talents and minds to worthy causes.

• Give enough love and sympathy to everyone.

• Help other people.

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

• Conclusions:1. In conclusion, there are five major crimes caused by

youth in Shah Alam (i.e. stealing, rape, robbery, cause injury, and burglary) in about 7 years (i.e 2004 to 2010 (Jan-July).

2. To conclude, there are three major factors that cause youth crime (i.e. Individual, physical, and social).

3. As a conclusion, everyone including government, NGOs, parents, surrounding society and individual itself are the key/ remedy to cure the disease of youth crimes in our society.

• Recommendations:

1. Everyone of us should take initiatives to reform and to guide our youth to the right path back.

2. We need to wake up from our slumber and stop being a selfish and start to care of each other.

3. Start dedicating your talents and minds to worthy causes, you especially youth around the world can definitely reform your self and the world.
