Mission: To engage members, keep them up to date and feel part of the development of the new location. Inspire their minds and hearts to search deep spiritually in order to support this campaign. Vision: A consistent Social Media presence with engagement and sharing to encourage community to join us in our efforts. To personally connect via virtual strategy. Target Audience: For this specific push, the target audience should first be existing members of the church community. After the initial push, the outreach should extend to demographics that will reach both existing and also potential members at the new location.
Competition: Other churches in the area are younger and more in tune with effective social media strategies. What is the competition doing well? Engaging younger members with “check in’s and incentives for how many check in’s they get. They are consistent and smart with topics and timing. How can we be better than competition? Develop a consistent timeline for information, inspiration, engagement, fun, and check ins. Engage in a personal way.
FACEBOOK Facebook allows for real-time updates and interactions, while offering
space for longer posts and add-ons such as event pages, groups, and
applications. Facebook is where your personality will shine through!
•Set up and branding of profile
•Create “Calls to Action”
•Share relevant articles
•Share photos
•Tag other like-minded organizations
•Adjust all bio and information on all channels to
improve search
•Client to add social media addresses to email
signatures, all print marketing materials
•Create YouTube tab to share videos

initial launch

YOUTUBE While YouTube is most obviously a video sharing network, it is
also a huge Search Engine Optimization booster.
Every video posted can be tagged, increasing Search Engine
Optimization of your brand name/company.

should represent something that the church is giving
back to community/outreach. I.E.-Each check in gives a
youth group member $5 toward their trip to Miami
