Look out for individuals connected to the organisation – there are a couple of people who I keep on tripping over on-line who are really helpful.

An alliance of individuals, each with their own on-line presence.

Blogs and all sorts of information.

http://internettimealliance.com/ Go to Team, select a person’s name, scroll down and look at social connections. Look out for the individuals – Jane Hart (C4LPT), Charles Jennings, Harold Jarche and others – they are all over social media and many training people follow them.

Writers Many writers are on-line and are willing to interact with their readers.

If you are reading a book or blog, try looking up the writer on twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook. You may wish to search for others who are mentioning the writer’s name. Don’t forget that Amazon reviews are a ‘community’ of sorts.

Chats and Discussions On twitter – chats are fast and furious and usually have a #hastag and happen at a specific time (#chat2lrn Thurs 16.00)

LinkedIn – discussions belong to a group

Look out individuals who you know or whose ideas are interesting. It’s worth checking profiles to see if you have something in common.
