Process/Systems:An analysis in done on a collection of activities that takes one or more

kinds of inputs and creates an output that is of value to the customer. We organize around outcomes – Not the activity tasks Ensure the users of the process outputs actually performs the PROCESS Combine information-processing work into Real Work that produces the

information Manage geographically dispersed resources as a Centralized Center Link parallel run activities and not focus on integrating their results Target the decision point where the work is performed, and build

definitive control into the process Capture information at the source and do it ONCE

Continuous Improvements:Upon a complete assessment of organization’s short and long term goals, if the need exist for a Continuous Improvement Program to be implemented

the following assessment steps will be initiated: Gap analysis on identified underperformance processes. Perform data

collection on Current State for future comparison assessment Implement basic 5-S and Lean Six Sigma Drills on a small scale on all

identified processes Assess and evaluate results to determine the need for Kaizen or Kan-Ban Monitor, Measure and Record all activities for a 3-month duration to

determine affectivity of implemented changes Compare new process performance against old process results

Cost Center Assessment:SOC Inc. will perform a Financial Assessment on all organization’s critical processes to determine if it’s a COST CENTER or a PROFIT CENTER. We assess all fixed, variable, direct, indirect, holding and borrowing

cost and isolate to a process center We can then determine if the process is costing dollars or creating

dollars Cost Centers will be identified and new sourcing strategy will be

initiated to determine feasibility to outsource and at what profit margin

Profit Centers will be identified and reviewed to be a candidate for the Continuous Improvement Program

A Operational Optimization Chart will be generated depicting all Cost and Profit Centers for all plants of the organization

Sales Strategy Development:Developing a strategy will begin with understanding the existing product

line and service the organization currently offers to their industry. These products and services will be evaluated for there sales and productive performance against the market leading performers to establish a benchmark. Core capabilities will be established. The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Process will be launched to

define the organization’s capabilities assessing in house and qualified vendor resources. The goal is to identify where to invest money to grow the business. Either in taking on new capabilities or penetrate the market

with the organization’s core capabilities.

Business Process Improvement:Each Business Process of the organization will be assessed at a Program level. A Value Stream Map (VSM) will define all elements of the program to establish opportunities for improvements. Cash flow will be the first

element that will be looked at to determine performance. Efficiency will be the

second element that will be assessed. If the program is not yielding positive cash flow and productive rate is not to industry benchmark, improvement plans will be established and implemented. These programs will be evaluated for

a long term company capability – Meaning if this is a program the

Order Management (EDI):Managing orders and ensuring a high level of customer service is critical to an organization’s success. If the organization is accessing the Electronic Data Interchange system to process orders, this process must have a direct link to the ERP system to ensure 100% of all orders that are transmitted is captured.SOC Inc. can ensure this link is gap free and all exceptions are isolated and managed to achieve a high level of customer service. If the organization is not using EDI, the existing order management tool will be assessed for accuracy and process integrity. Process will be streamlined and SOP’s will be established to ensure maximum efficiency for data processing.

Demand Planning and S&OP Process:Launching the S&OP process will put an organization in a better position for Demand Planning. Planning at the up front stage hinges on the organization’s production performance, vendor performance and inventory level accuracy. These three elements will be assessed for accuracy, thru-put and efficiency.SOC Inc. will ensure the data being loaded into the ERP is accurate and reflective of what’s being done at the floor level. Before loading the schedule, we first need to understand the productive capabilities to know its capacity. Knowing capacity and identifying areas of overflow is critical for demand planning. Level loading the production is key to establishing a lean demand planning process.

Inventory Assessment and Management:Managing an organization’s inventory is the single most

important function to ensure success. SOC Inc. performs this critical assessment by working backwards – Floor to system. We start by cycle counting to validate the system data. We then focus on:

Slow moving and obsolete inventory Surplus Inventory Invalid SKU’s Dock to Stock process with suppliers Drop zones and productive supermarkets
