So you want a puppy?

Registered Charity No. 1039679

Unknown to innocent dog-loving families, hundreds of thousands of puppies - sold every year in the UK - have been bred in the isolated and barren conditions of a puppy farm.

The puppies are often sold without vaccinations or health checks and many carry disease. They are often separated too early from their mums, who are treated like breeding machines kept for profit. Without early affection, puppies can grow to become scared and aggressive dogs.

If you want a puppy, make sure you see the puppy with its real mum, don’t buy before they are 8 weeks old, see where it was bred and get a puppy contract.

Don’t be a victim of puppy farmers

But where will your puppy come from?
