So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in
love abides in God, and God abides in him. 1 John 4:16
Two Questions
We Never Ask Ourselves:
Why do i avoid a
loving God?
Because of the fears I face:
• That I’ll have to give up ______________.
Fact:As for the rich in this present age,
charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of
riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
1 Timothy 6:17
Because of the fears I face:
• That I’ll have to give up ______________.
• That I’ll have to become a fanatic.
Fact:The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they may have
life and have it abundantly. John 10:10
