SOFTEN

Mare is a fresh and colourful collection; it has an immediate effect,

like its name, which makes us dive in the waves and in the summer

happiness. The modules that create the collection are characterised by

round and organised shapes, which are typical of the ‘60s. The choice

of the fabric further highlights this reference

to vintage: the delicate weft reminds of the colours of water (light blue,

light grey, turquoise, blue) and soil (pink, sand, beige, terracotta), which

give the collection a vivid, yet never too heavy aspect. The use of pastel

shades donates elegance to the upholstered furniture.

The collection is made up of modular elements that allow various

compositions, ranging from a single armchair to large structures that

can adapt to areas of different sizes.

Mare è una collezione fresca e colorata, immediata, come il suo nome,

che ci porta subito tra le onde e nella spensieratezza estiva.

I moduli che compongono la collezione sono caratterizzati da forme

arrotondate e organiche, tipiche degli arredi anni 60. Questo richiamo

al vintage viene ulteriormente sottolineato dalla scelta dei tessuti: le

trame delicate riprendono i colori dell’acqua (azzurro, grigio chiaro,

verde acqua, blu) e della terra (rosa, sabbia, beige, terracotta), dando

alla collezione un aspetto vivace ma mai troppo carico, che, grazie

all’utilizzo delle nuance pastello, restituisce eleganza agli imbottiti.

La collezione si compone di elementi modulari che permettono

composizioni che spaziano dalla singola poltrona, fino a diventare

grandi isole in grado di adattarsi agli spazi più differenti.

complemento, dalle forme vagamente antropomorfe, con funzione di

servomuto, (appendi abiti e porta salviette) , che si trasforma facilmente

in tavolino appoggiando sulle sue braccia un piano, o lo stesso vassoio

con cui vengono serviti clienti in un bar o in un club.

Servetto è realizzato in metallo curvato, risultando così leggero non solo

come peso ma anche a livello visivo, ed è quindi facilmente abbinabile

a diverse collezioni.

La gamma cromatica proposta prevede sia colori accesi che nuance

neutre in grado di accostarsi ai tessuti più diversi

La continua ricerca ed evoluzione porta MYYOUR a scoprire sempre

nuovi orizzonti. Il different concept diventa different finishing: MYYOUR

presenta l’ “ossidato” nei colori rame e ruggine.

L’accurata lavorazione, che mette in simbiosi due materiali chiaramente

agli antipodi, prevede l’utilizzo di particelle di ferro come rivestimento,

il cui processo di ossidazione viene attivato da prodotti specifici e

bloccato da un’apposita vernice trasparente, che ne permette l’utilizzo

all’esterno. Così facendo il materiale plastico trasforma la sua natura

diventando metallico. Inoltre, essendo il procedimento di ossidazione

eseguito manualmente, ogni articolo è unico.

The continuous research and development leads MYYOUR to discover

new horizons. The different concept becomes different finishing:

MYYOUR presents the “oxidized” in the copper and rust colors.

The careful manufacturing, which puts in symbiosis two materials

clearly poles apart, involves the use of iron particles as a coating, whose

oxidation process is activated by specific products and stopped by a

special transparent varnish which allows the outdoor use. In this way

the plastic material transforms its nature becoming metal, it is evident

in the fact that a magnet is attracted to it. Since this is a purely manual

processing, makes each item different and unique.

DRYFEEL

Dryfeel® is a different type of foam specifically designed for outdoor

applications, where the risk of humidity is higher. Dryfeel® has been

conceived to offer a completely open cellular structure that allows

water and moisture to pass through quickly and effectively, ensuring

maximum comfort in all conditions of humidity. It is load-bearing and

dries much more quickly thanks to its extremely porous cellular structure.

Its fully open cells allow complete drainage of the water, significantly

reducing the drying time, while maintaining all its characteristics. It is

treated with biocides that destroy harmful organisms such as bacteria,

molds and fungi.

Nella versione BASELINE gli imbottiti sfoderabili sono rivestiti con tessuto

SUNBRELLA® idrorepellente. Disponibili su richiesta i teli di copertura su

misura a seconda della composizione.

Nella versione PLUSLINE l’ imbottito idrodrenante è composto da

DRYFEEL e rivestito con tessuto in fibra poliolefinica, resistente agli agenti

atmosferici, sfoderabile e lavabile in lavatrice.

La struttura, in Poleasy per entrambe le versioni, è dotata di sistema di

canalizzazione che permette lo scolo dell’acqua, garantendo una più

veloce asciugatura e una continua aerazione.

In the BASELINE versions the removable paddings are upholstered with

idrorepellent SUNBRELLA® fabric. On request, availble custom size

covering depending on given composition.

In the PLUSLINE version the hydro-draining padding is made of DRYFEEL

and covered with polyolefin fiber fabric, resistant to atmospheric

agents, removable and washing-machine washable.

The structure, in Poleasy in both version, is equipped of canalization

system that allows the drainage of the water, ensuring faster drying

and continuous ventilation.

Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso founded

BrogliatoTraverso design studio in 2014.

Their approach to design is ‘NO TIME, NO SPACE’

and refers to ideate objects with a timeless design.

BrogliatoTraverso work by creating a detailed sign,

but almost invisible. With these finely hinted forms,

their creations establish deep intimate empathy with

the users and their surroundings, respecting both of them.

Their fine simplification process delivers projects addressing

the needs of consumers and made for various companies,

including Cappellini, Fratelli Guzzini, Infiniti, Il Fanale/Torremato,

MyYour. The Studio won many international awards, including

the Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award, iF Design

Serena Confalonieri (1980) is an indipendent designer and art

director based in Milano. She works on product, graphic and

textile design projects and collaborates with many italian and

international companies.

Her works are placed in-between product and graphic desi-

gn: an accurate research on the surfaces is always present in

her projects.

After a Master Degree in Interior Design, she started her career

working in many architecture and design practices in Milano,

Barcelona and Berlin, and collaborating with the Interior Design

Faculty of Politecnico di Milano as assistant professor.
