Monongalia County Schools Summer Snowflakes offers summertime learning opportunities to MCS students from pre-k to seniors at nearly every school in the county. Taught by certified teachers, every course gives kids a chance to experience – and experiment in – subject areas that pique their interests, keep them academically engaged and help prepare them for the upcoming school year.

Underwritten by 2017-2022 Mon County Schools Excess Levy funds, Summer Snowflakes is offered free-of-charge to all Mon County pre-k-12 students. Visit the MCS website http://boe.mono.k12.wv.us to register and to learn about additional summertime learning opportunities.

Ready Freddie – School readiness program prepares incoming kindergarten students for their first early childhood experience. Activities will boost children’s social-emotional development and increase their awareness of classroom routines.
