Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre enters into an agreement with VIT University

Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre has entered into an agreement with VIT University. VIT University has already lunched a programme by name “Greenish Vellore”. Through which sap lingo and were planted and maintained. There two institutions have entered into an agreement on 01.09.2008 and signed by Mr. Viswanathan chancellore VIT University and Dr. N. Balaji, Director of Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre.

The other dignitaries presents were Joint Vice Chancellors Mr. Sekar Viswanathan and G.V. Selvam, Vice Chancellore DP. Kothori, Joint Vice Chancellore Mr. Anand Samuel, Dean of Bio-Technolgy Department Dr. Lazarus Mathew. This agreement makes it possible to take up joint research work on Bio-Technology and Medical Research eligible persons from SNH&RC can be registered with VIT University for Ph.D. and VIT students can have their practical executions as well.

The fire of passion is never put off. The desire of providing all possible amenities to all

mankind grows in immeasurable proportions in the Divine heart of Amma. Though there

is a multispecialty hospital established by Amma another place of healing in Ayurvedic

way has blossomed by the enormous benevolence of Sri Sakthi Amma in the vicinity.

In the Divine presence of Sri Sakthi Amma Dr. R. Velu the Hon’ble union Minister of

State for Railways inaugurated the SRI SAKTHI AMMA AYURVEDIC

VAIDYASALAI in Thirumalaikodi on 10.09.2008 at 12.30pm. Dr. Selvakumar, B.A.

M.s., has already started treating the patients. It is heartening to note that the two wings

of medicine (Alopathy and Ayurvedic) are available under the same roof. This is

peedam’s yet another medical service manifestation.

The major attention of the programme was towards infectious diseases. More than 100 participants benefited from the programme.

Women Health Care Camp

Date: 6, 10. 09. 2008 Place: Ariyurkuppam to Puthur By: Dr. T. Kannaki. Purpose: To find out problems among women like menstrual disorders, lower abdominal pain, white discharge, prolapsed uterus etc. and give free treatment. Participants: More than 20 persons were treated free of cost.

ANC Camp

Date: .09,17,24.09.2008 Places: Puthur to Panangadu Tharvazhi to Eripudhur Ariyurkuppam to Puthur By: ANM Purpose: To find out problems among pregnant women like intra uterus growth retardation, low lying placenta, hydromnios, any uterus disease etc. and to provide injections and iron tablets for those that are anaemic and those who may need to be hospitalized. Participants: More than 80 women were examined and medicines iron tablets were given free of cost.

General Medicine

Date: 05, 19.09.2008 Place: Vellore LIC office and Vasantha Nadai By: Dr. T. Kannaki, Dr. Varadhan Purpose: To find out the common diseases among men and women who live in unhygienic conditions and are prone to health hazards. Participants: More than 182 persons including men women and children were screened and treatment and medicine were provided to all of them free of cost.

Neuro Camp

Date: 13.09.2008 Places: Sri Narayani Hospital & Research Centre. By: Dr. G. Prem Kumar, Purpose: To find out common Neurological problems like chronic Headache, frequent giddiness etc., Participants: More than 60 people with the above problems and the like were treated free of cost.

Diabetology Camp

Every body knows what happiness is. It is a feeling as a result of getting what one likes. You also know about anger. If some one stands as an obstacle to get a particular thing

you like, you develop anger over him. If some thing or some one you like most happens to leave you, you feel sorrowful. Affection is love in abundance on some one thinking that, that one is everything for you. So, every body would have experienced happiness, sorrowfulness, affection, anger, disappointment and jealousy and so on. Only One But there is one feeling which only a man can possibly experience. That is peace and harmony. Once if this peace is experienced all the feelings listed above i.e. happiness, sorrowfulness, affection, anger, disappointment and jealousy and so on will vanish. In the presence of peace and harmony, all the worries and sufferings will go away. Will come automatically Every one wants to be happy. One is happy if everything he wishes becomes a reality. Is it possible? Will everything one wants happen? No. If it does not happen the way one wants he starts worrying. Anger in the same way will affect a person when even if he does not want a thing to happen, does happen. If a person wants not to be affected by any thing he must experience peace and harmony. When does one get peace? Happiness is achieved when there is liking for something. One feels grieved if some thing he likes most leaves him. These kinds of feelings evolve as a result of one’s attachment to worldly pleasures.

Shakthi This feeling of peace and harmony is the result of having a permanent devotion towards Amma. Will such a person meet with sufferings and difficulties? Yes of course! But he won’t feel the pain of it. He shall have the power to bear with any kind of difficulty. You are striving hard to get happiness and to get what you want. That is not permanent. Some times you may get and some times you may not.

State of mind To lead a life without worries one must have peace inside. A state of mind which does not get affected by what ever happens is peacefulness or harmony. If a person achieves this state of mind what ever happens whether sickness or difficulty, he won’t be affected. When does one get peace? At the time of total surrender to Amma. This is meditation If there is peace there is no worry; there is no sorrow; no difficulty. Always happiness and harmony. Which is the way to surrender? It is through chanting the name of Amma. What ever may be the problem or need or to do away with trouble and to fill the universe with goodness, the best instrument is chanting the holy name of Amma. Pronounce the name of Amma again and again. That is the biggest meditation: the biggest pooja: the biggest yagnam.One needs knowledge, wisdom and facility to do other kinds of worships. But to chant Amma’s name one needs only a heart to do this. Through the

chanting of the name of Amma one gets peace, the necessary goodness and at the same time all the difficulties will vanish to a far away distance.

Such kind of instrument, manthra and chanting are contained in just three words. Om Namo Narayani ! This means I surrender to you. Best Path As soon as you surrender Amma, it is her responsibility to protect you and take care of you. The present difficulties you face are your own creations. When you surrender the responsibility is vested with Amma and the best way to surrender is chanting her name. All the times whether morning or night you can chant her name. This not merely manthra or words but Sakthi (Divine Strength) itself. One meets several problems when he does not possess strength. Diseases attack a person whose immunity gets reduced. It is not possible to cross over any obstacle without strength. Let it be profession or business or a auspicious happening at home. If the strength gets reduced evil things come to the surface. The only thing which gives the necessary strength and goodness all the time is this chanting. All that is good will happen through the chanting of Amma’s name.
