PIECING: (all seams are ¼ inch); Pin all the fabrics (right sides together) as you sew them to maintain accurate

measurements.

1. Sew all border pieces around A, A1 and A2. Sew vertical strips first and then the

horizontal strips. Press.

2. Sew A to G, A1 to C, A2 to B. Press.

3. Sew D and E together. Press.

4. Sew H to the A/AG piece. Press.

5. The next seam will be a partial one. Attach C to the A2/B piece. Match

the right edges and then stop sewing 2 inches from the end of

C…backstitch to strengthen. Press except near the unfinished seam.

6. Sew D/E to A1/C/B. Press.

7. Sew F to top of A1/D/E. Press.

8. Sew H/A/AG to F/A1/C. Press.

9. Now you can complete the partial seam and sew C/G/H to top of A2. See photo.

Press.

10. Another partial seam; sew I across the top stopping 2 inches from end of F. Backstitch to

strengthen. Press.

11. Sew J down the left side of piece. Press.

12. Sew K and L together then sew strip to the across the bottom of the piece from J to E.

Press.

13. Sew M onto the left next to J/K. Press.

14. Sew N across bottom. Press.

15. Attach O to right side of piece from F to N. Press.

16. Finish the partial seam along I. Press.

Finishing: I used my leftover pieces for my back and for my hidden binding. Spray baste the top, batting, and

back. Bind and quilt.

Don’t forget your label.

Enjoy!
