Inauguration of Pilot Project in East Champaran District, Bihar, 17th August 2015

The Inauguration of Croplife India Pilot Project on “Responsible Use of Pesticides and Container Management” East Champaran District ,Bihar was held on 17th August, 2015 at Gandhi Smarak, Chandrahia Village, Motihari Block, East Champaran District, Bihar . This Pilot Project is being conducted under the aegis of Grow Safe Food campaign and is supported by Department of Agriculture and co-operation .Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture inaugurated the Pilot Project and addressed the gathering. Shri Pramod Kumar, MLA Motihari block, Shri Ram Babu Singh, District Agriculture Officer,Motihari, Shri Rajendra Gupta, President of Cold Storage Unit, Motihari and Ex-chairman Zila Parishad, Motihari, Shri Kumar Ashwani, Block Development Officer, Motihari, Shri Laxman Prasad, Project Director ATMA were also present at the inaugural event.
