Our SHEV system options analyses provide a spe-

cial service designed to keep costs down. They

are aimed at supplying customers with the most

cost-effective overall design concept. This is pos-

sible thanks to our comprehensive range, includ-

ing a position control unit (patent pending) with an

independent power supply for electrically powered

roller shutters.

We use information supplied about the building to

produce an individual SHEV design concept based

on thicknesses for the low-smoke layer which are

selected within the limits imposed by the standard.

CI System Double Flap ME DK combines a SHEV function (smoke

extraction as per EN 12101-2), optimum daylight intake and

natural ventilation in a compact system. This daylight element

complete with high-performance soundproofing impresses due to

its extremely good heat insulation properties.

and thus feature a highly effective, aerodynamic smoke extraction

equipped with smoke and heat exhaust devices that fulfil all EN

12101-2 requirements. Single or double flaps are integrated to

provide a smoke and heat ventilation system and can be actuated

for normal and fair weather ventilation.

LUX daylight systems create considerable potential for effective

management of building security, energy efficiency and building

comfort. We create logic operations for movable and controllable el-

ements in the building envelope. Examples: flaps for smoke and heat

extractionandnaturalventilation,shadeandlightdirectionfittingsto

regulate the daylight intake and solar heat input, activation of electri-

cal lighting controlled by daylight intensity, air conditioning and ven-

tilation system cooling capacities dependent on the indoor climate.

Many European countries have special rules for stairways. In

most cases, smoke must be removed from stairways using elec-

trically controlled, mains-independent systems. For this purpose,

LAMILUX supplies smoke and heat ventilation systems specially

designed for stairways, although they may also be fitted in any

type of building or structure.

Our standard set comprises:

•1electricmotorwith500mmstroke,24V,disconnection

under load

•1 control panel for max. of 2 motors with SHEV button, fan button

activation and various supplementary devices, such as smoke

detectors, thermal alarms or wind and rain sensors

•2 SHEV control switches with visual display, surface mounted

•1 flush-mounted ventilation switch for 55 back box

This electrically powered rooflight dome drive system has been

specially designed for use with LAMILUX domelights. The drive

system opens domelights up to a size of 150 x 240 cm / 150 x 180

cm to 172° in less than 60 seconds.

Whenintegratedintoadomelight,thesystemiscertifiedforaservice

life of 11,000 opening and closing processes. Fully electric SHEV

systems can be built using a combination of VdS-approved controls

and triggering devices by D+H. These systems can also be used

for ventilation using either a ventilation button adjusted via the main

system, or a ventilation button-controlled stroke height.
