L arge magneto crystalline anisotropies andhigh saturation magnetization and also a highcurie loop temperature. The anisotropy field was 120T for the system.Phase equlibria sm rich corner of ternarysystem have not completely been calculated.

Known Corecivities @ 8T where found Tc 516K

The large coerecivity of 8T which is sufficientenough to make permanent magnet materials. From this point it is known that the addition ofsmall amounts of Fe added will increase thecurie temperature and saturationmagnetization which is the goal of myexperiments.Goals is to continue doping and compoundcharacterization to find the optimum dopingwith this 1:4 magnet.

Chosen to vary x by small values from 0.05-0.2Minimize loss of Rare Earth throughvaporization.Homogeneous mixture by melting thoroughlymany more times than previously done whilecontinuing to conserve RE.

More through description of compoundproperties as well as an investigation into whatindustry uses can come from this as well as acost analysis.

From the magnetization curves you canobserve two phases Hard and Soft.Advantages of the hard and soft phase magnetsis to improve coercivity by creating a semi-hard phase between the two states. This semi hard phase is large in its magnitude

    which is a desired result.
