Allows to auto route Instrumentation and Control (I&C) cables in S3D
Improve the design accuracy by retrieve the routed length of the cable
from the S3D model
Harmonization - similar to SPEL – S3D integration but for I&C cables
SPI v2016, Inter Company Collaboration (ICC) – Phase II
ICC 2, business drives and benefits
Extension to current supported ICC1 – supporting Publish / Retrieve
capabilities of As Build information by:-
– Enable Projects to be integrated with SPF
– Publish and Compare is supported (not able to retrieve data) on project
level
SPI v2016, Query Builder & Engineering Data Editor (EDE)
Query Builder, business drives and benefits
Allows users to create instantly flexible queries within SPI Knowledge of SPI is required but not data model
Simple to use and provides engineering and design context
Replace the need for 3rd party tools as Infomaker etc…

Caveat:- Spec’s UDF remain supported by “Spec DD” When multi plants are in used (same domain), special attention is required
after upgrade
SPI v2016, Overhaul of SPI – Fisher CV interface
Based on new Spec form Revised links (for import module) Includes DDP data Caveat:- Old Spec form (#70) and links will not be
supported for the interface (only)
SPI v2016 R1
Tentatively scheduled for Q4, 2016 – Master Tag Registry (MTR) - phase I support – ESL fully converted to .net – Offsite projects handling (overhaul) – Expose Web Services to support:-
Vendor integration SP Enterprise Portal (SPEP - replacement for SPEx)
SPI – Vendor Interface
Vendor Interface, Business drives and benefits
• Seamless interface between Projects (EPC) and Suppliers (vendors)
• Use of SPI To-Do-List as staging to compare and verify the supplier design
and device selection – Highly important
• Will support also the device Dimension Data (DDP) to ease the 3D modelling
• Cloud or On premise solution
SPI v2018
Tentatively scheduled for H2 - 2017 / H1 - 2018 Introduce replacement technology to Infomaker forms for:-
– Flexible Process Data module functionality Control Logic Diagram Engineering dashboard ICC3 – allow full publish / retrieve of projects in Integrated environment
Discontinue INtools v6
INtools version v6 and versions before that will be discontinued by December 31, 2015
The software will no longer be in delivery from the product center order desk
after that date. Reasoning is the technical platform is no longer available for these versions &
