a smart phone is a cell phone that provides the user with functions that one might find on a computer or PDA

Smartphones also allow the user to choose the applications used on the phone

• The study found that blackberry users save an average of 60 minutes a day, or five hours a week

• With the time saved, employees’ productivity increased by 38%

• For personal use, the study found that over 20% of users use the time saved to relax and spend time with family

• In conclusion, the research done across four continents shows that smartphones in fact save users a lot of time and help in improving productivity
