BROCHURE 2015The Smart Approach To Security In Public Places
SmartGUARD is a revolutionary new platform that can modernise and advances airport security.
The SMART solution
for security in public spaces
SMARTGUARD
21st Century SecurityWe at SmartALERT saw the current, imperfect system of communication between security staff and decided we could bring it up date by utilising modern technology.
SmartGUARD can help airport security staff, as the pressure on them to reduce intoxicated and aggressive customers from flying increases. Our solution enables security staff to take, upload and view images of anti-social behaviour offenders, reducing many of the flaws associated with the old radio network and bringing security staff into the 21st Century.
SmartGUARD taking security staff into the 21st Century
Connect security staff within an airport
Reduce the risk of intoxicated or aggressive customers being allowed to fly
Remove the issue of mistaken identity by using images
Allow security staff to update information on a customer if the situation develops
Eliminate the risk of security staff missing radio broadcasts
WHY USE SMARTGUARD?
Radio technology has been outdated for years so why keep using it?
As SmartGUARD enables security staff to take, upload and view images of anti-social behaviour offenders, the system reduces many of the flaws associated with the old radio network and brings security into the 21st Century.
The risk of security staff missing radio alerts, whilst they are dealing with their own situation, is eliminated as alerts are stored within the application and so accessible at any time.
We have seen an increase in the reporting of anti-social behaviour within airports, with alcohol often the primary cause of any incident. It has been argued that more needs to be done to ensure that intoxicated passengers refused the right to fly, as we see more and more planes forced to make emergency landings thanks to disruptive and aggressive behaviour after takeoff.
SmartGUARD, from SmartALERT, can be used to identify, report and track potentially intoxicated customers as they make their way through an airport. As not only security staff, but also potentially bar and restaurant staff can be given access to the solution so that they may snap and share the image of a customer who they think may cause problems or should not be allowed to fly.
How Can SmartGUARD Improve Airport Security?
HOW IT WORKSThe SmartGUARD system, consisting of a smartphone and dedicated application, allows security staff to ‘snap’ an image of any individual they remove from their venue due to anti-social behaviour.
Once the image is captured the operator is presented with a number of options from a drop down menu, including severity of threat and reasons for removal.
This information, along with the offender’s image, is then shared on the SmartGUARD network, so that other security personnel within a chosen locality are alerted and may refuse them entry.
IDENTIFICATION
DATA UPLOADED DATA SHARED
IMAGE CAPTURED
Anti-social behaviour identified by trained security staff
Image and information are then shared on the SmartGUARD network
Security staff are alerted via smartphone or tablet over a wifi or mobile network
An image is captured and tagged with additional information
DOWNLOADABLE APPLICATION OR DEDICATED HARDWARE
SmartGUARD is available as a downloadable application through the Android App Store. We are also able to supply dedicated hardware, locked down to the application, from our hardware partner Samsung.
SmartGUARD countering anti-social behaviour
The application alerts security staff if there is an update to any situation within their chosen network
LIVE ALERTS
REPORT INCIDENT
The dedicated application allows security staff to capture the image of anti-social behaviour offenders
The security staff then add additional information using drop-down menus. The photo is then uploaded to the SmartGUARD network
ADD INFORMATION
Security staff can review a list of the day’s uploads along with location details and details on whoever uploaded the image
REVIEW INCIDENTS
