Selection and Rating ProgramSelection and Rating Program
InstructionsInstructions
Once you have installed the Mammoth selection Program, it should produce an Iconlike the one on the right. Double click on the Icon and the program will start.
During the few moments to launch the program you will see the dialog box to the left. This is the program going out on the web to check for updates that may be available.
You should see the Mammoth logo while the program continues to open.
The program is now up and running, this is what it should look like. The main screen is basically dividedinto four sections.
Project information section:Name of the project, location if you desire, also a place to put any special notes about the project.
Sales Rep information, name, sales office, e-mail and telephone.
After filling out the “Rep information” section if you go to the pull down menu and select “options” you will get this dialog box.
If you select the bottom box, allsubsequent orders will have this information available to eliminate reentering information each time you use the program.
The Application section
In this section you will enter the “Altitude” of the project in question. The altitude box entry is increasedor decreased in increments of 100 Feet.
You will also select if the project in question is a standard or geothermal application. This changesthe range of the allowable entering conditions.
If you have selected a geothermal application, you will also select the type of Glycol solution used on the project and the percentageby volume.
The current selection section
This section is whereYou will select:1. Unit tag2. Product line3. Voltage4. Unit size5. GPM6. CFM7. EDB & EWB8. EWT9. EDB & EWT Htg.
A note on selecting CFM / ESP
With direct drive blowers (single circuit models), CFM or external static pressure is automatically corrected to match the unit of measure selected.
400 CFM was selected, Program looks at internal blower curve and displaysthe external static pressure if proper ducting techniques are used
