mission through a continuous focus on impact.

ISBDC goes beyond training events and meetings

to ensure that clients receive noticeable value

ISBDC performance measures

The basics

section 01

Simple and understandable performance

measures enable SDBCs to communicate

and demonstrate their value to clients,

stakeholders, government and the public.

These performance measures are indicators for

actions intended to have a positive and

measurable impact on Indiana businesses.

All engagement from SBDCs is identifiable by its

professional attitude, appearance and output.

The ISBDC intends to become and remain the

primary Indiana resource network for business

planning and business growth activities.

The ISBDC is acknowledged and

respected as a wise investment of

money, resources and time by those

who utilize its services.

practices, current conditions, executive insight, industry opportunities and

future industry specific technology.

You will also find out how your business income statement and balance

sheet compare to businesses of the same size and same industry using

industry financial ratios with research compiled from local and national

publications.

section 04

With the help of Indiana’s Southeast SBDC,

a business called Trinity Dry Cleaners in

Lawrenceburg, Indiana, has recently been

launched.

The owners of this establishment, Linda and

Barry Mitchell, have been SBDC clients for two

years and created their company in order to

provide an eco-friendly business for their

community.

By eliminating the toxic and hazardous chemicals

typically used by dry cleaning facilities, they are

able to eliminate a health risk to their community

and improve their region’s environment.

The ISBDC consolidates many

areas of expertise in one

accessible local office. Having

access to qualified advisors is

an invaluable resource for any

entrepreneur looking to start

their own business.

section 04

Jeff Mauck and Michelle Mauck are

founders of Mauck Towing and Recovery, a

successful towing operation in Borden,

Indiana.

These entrepreneurs established their business

after discovering that their hometown, Borden,

was 20 miles from the closest towing company.

With the help of Indiana’s southeast SBDC, they

launched a successful small business.

If it were not for Blayr [Southeast ISBDC

Regional Director] and the ISBDC, we

would still be trying to figure everything

out on our own. Blayr pointed us in the

right direction. She seemed to act as a

spiritual advisor, not just a business

advisor.

The ISBDC helped us focus on the long-

term goals of opening our business so

that we didn’t obsess over the long, slow

details.

Everything that goes into starting

and growing a small business is

so expensive. The Southeast

ISBDC was a great resource

because they are affordable and

supportive.

Jacqueline Overpeck

Owner of All Kids Can Therapy Services LLC.

Madison, Indiana, is home to All Kids Can

Therapy Services LLC., a business owned

by entrepreneur Jacqueline Overpeck.

This small clinic, which is for kids only, offers

physical therapy, occupational therapy and

speech therapy for children with injuries and

special needs.

With assistance from Indiana’s southeast

SBDC, All Kids Can has become an extremely

successful small business that has served over

220 patients.

Blayr [Southeast ISBDC

Regional Director] and the

ISBDC saved Energy Delivery

Solutions thousands of dollars

by helping us with our

financial statements and

business plan.

Dr. Bill Ehringer

Owner of Energy Delivery Solutions, LLC.

Located in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Energy

Delivery Solutions was founded by Dr. Bill

Ehringer, a previous professor of Physiology,

Biophysics and Bioengineering.

Dr. Ehringer developed Energy Deliverable

Solutions in order to make his patented

technology, liposomal ATP, available to the general

public.

This life-saving technology is used all around the

world, and positively impacts southern Indiana by

creating jobs and hopefully drawing more

biotechnology businesses to the area.
