Dear Colleague,
The dynamic healthcare landscape across Asia-Pacific is expected to continue its drive in global healthcare investment, innovation and opportunities.
Healthcare delivery across both primary care and hospital services are going to be the mainstay of the strong growth momentum. The private primary healthcare services market in Singapore alone is expected to exceed US$3billion by 2020 and provides opportunities across the healthcare value chain.
Technology has long been a valued resource in healthcare, but adoption has been slower than in other industries. If there is one industry experiencing rapid change right now, it is healthcare. Whether it is the shift from paper to electronic records, face-to-face consultation to telehealth diagnosis, or instructing patients to empowering them, the industry is evolving fast.
For the first time in Australia on November 2015, our Digital Hospital of the Future conference aOracted more than 150 aOendees and over 100 leading companies from top healthcare and solution providers with 60% of our delegates being C-Suites, Directors or Senior Management to discuss how to maximize digital technology to create exceptional patient experience and improve healthcare efficiency.
This unique gathering in Singapore is a great opportunity to meet and exchange insights on the future of the healthcare industry. This is a must-aOend event for healthcare stakeholders across the value chain to stay relevant in the years ahead and be part of the Changing Face of Healthcare.
Open your eyes to a world of possibilities in April 2016 at Singapore!
Warmest Regards,
Lucas Guo Conference Director

TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPE These 5 Key Drivers have unequivocally translated into a booming demand for quality healthcare services, prompting both public and private sectors in countries across the region to massively expand healthcare and healthcare technology implementation. Singapore, for example, has announced plans to double healthcare spending from US$3.2 billion to US$6.4 billion by 2017, as well as increase its hospital bed capacity in acute care hospitals by 30% and in community hospitals by 100% by 2020.
Rapidly ageing population and resulting
burden of chronic disease care
Growing expectations on
safety, access and enhanced patient
experience
Rising costs on healthcare
as a result of global economic
turbulence affecting healthcare budget
Manpower crunch
Higher prevalence of non-communicable
disease
Technology Innovation especially in the areas of: Mobility Clinical decision support Patient management systems Data analysis and business intelligence for healthcare resource planning
Enhancing accessibility, quality and affordability of healthcare: E-organizing the system into one integrated regional health system with an acute general hospital working closely with other care healthcare providers

Beds divided into cells where each cell will have a pair of nursing staff with their own workstations and cabinet of disposables instead of being based at a central nursing station. This reduces the amount of walking by half and 50% rise in efficiency on top of improvement in response time and patient services. Examples: Patient Guide and Bedside Station Patient Infotainment Terminal

Wearable patient monitoring devices that can continuously monitor a patient’s blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration rate, skin temperature, blood oxygen saturation and other vital signs.
