the methodology of studying fiqh in Islam, especially on the
importance of going back to the basis (dalil).
Therefore in future, my slides/ hand-outs will not contain
elaborate explanations, but will be brief but with emphasis on
basis (therefore you are to give special attention to practice,
and to memorize) on the explanation and these basis - Qur'an
or Hadith (especially those which I painstakingly provide with –
or without - the transliteration to ease those new converts).

They will say, "We were not of those who prayed (NU-SWOL-
LEEN), Nor did we used to feed the poor (TUTW-IMUL-MIS-KEEN).
And we used to enter into (NA-HUU-DWU) vain discourse with
(HAA-I-DWEEN)those who engaged [in it],
And we used to (NU-KADZ-DZIB) deny the Day of Recompense
(YAUM-AD-DEEN),
Until there came to us the certainty (YAQEEN-death)."
