Celebrating The Saints God of ages past and days yet to come, we come into your presence with joy and thanksgiving. For those who have gone before us, we gratefully remember their wisdom. For those who will follow after us, we fervently pray for their growth in faith. For those of us here and now, we offer you our lives, that we may be faithful followers, true disciples and blessed children of your love. In Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.

Our Departed Saints Ever living God,

This day revives in us memories of loved ones who are no more.

What happiness we shared when they walked among us.What joy, when, loving and being loved, we lived our lives together.

Months or years may have passed, and still we feel near to them.

The links of life are broken,

But the links of love and longing cannot break. We give you thanks that they now live and reign with you.

As a great cloud of witnesses, they surround us with their blessings,

And offer you hymns of praise and thanksgiving.

Their memory is a blessing forever!Their souls are bound up in ours forever!

They are alive for ever more!

 Amen!
