Scheduling 2013-14 In addition to updated fees and scheduling, there will be a new format for assigning field

space hourly.

Salt Lake City has leagues which have been on the same fields for many years and are considered “grandfathered” on those fields. This means that they have the opportunity to schedule the fields first. Grandfathered organizations will be limited to a 2-3 hour consecutive block of time on weekdays and a 2-5 hour consecutive block of time on Saturdays and Sundays. (Exceptions will be considered for Ute Conference Football)

General reservation scheduling of any remaining field space is available for other

organizations.

2015- P&PL will eliminate “grandfathering” fields.

Policies for Future Field UseSweat Equity will no longer be approved to offset fees, although organizations may approach

P&PL with proposals to help improve SLC fields (donations of seed, sod or labor)

Youth organizations that don’t have proof of 501c3 status will be charged $4 per hour per field instead of $2 per hour per field

Leagues that consist of both youth and adults will want to turn in 2 separate applications- one for youth which will be charged the youth rate for fields and one for adults which will be charged the adult rate. This will not double a league’s allotted time on SLC fields.

P&PL may need to close and restore fields if field conditions become unsafe resulting from increased use.
