NELS SKOGMAN, a carpenter from Sweden, moved his family to the Midwest in 1906 and began building homes. In 1943, his son ERICK moved to Cedar Rapids and started building apartments for defense workers. Erick’s son ROY joined the company in 1945 to help build homes for Veterans returning from the war. Now the fourth and fifth generations of the Skogman family build upon that tradition.
