SKILL SET CATEGORIES

Matte Painting

A composition of images to re-create a new scene.

You can upload only 1 best artwork.

The image resolution should not be higher than 2048 x 872 pixel wide.

Compress your images in a ZIP or RAR format while submission.

The archive can be a maximum size of 5 MB.

Digital Painting

Create an image from scratch in any paint software.

You can upload only 1 best artwork.

Modeling and Texturing

Upload 1 beauty render of each Character/BG. You can submit a maximum of 3 Character/BG).

Submit (images) grey models, textured renders, wire frame on grey shaded and 3 point light.

The video should be of size 960x540 px.

CG Lighting

Upload 1 beauty render of each BG. You can submit a maximum of 3 BGs.

Scene description Exterior having a day and night scene and interior scene with the mix of artificial

(bulbs, florescent lights or any other light fixtures) and natural lights (sun light or moon light).

Submit- the breakdowns (use of compositing) of the lighting shots needs to be demonstrated for the

submission to be treated valid.

The video should be of size 960x540 px

Character Animation

Performance animation only.

Compile a video of best of your animation clips of not more than 60 seconds. The resolution of the film

should be 960X540.

Photography

Theme : FEMALE The versatile

Submit a synopsis along with the photo describing the theme in relation to the subject.

You can submit a maximum of 3 photographs.

A participant should have an approach to MAKE A PICTURE and not TAKE A PICTURE.

One can click any form of FEMALE Human being, reptiles, birds, animals, insects etc and must ensure

the versatility to be captured.

Your picture must frame a story as per the theme.

Stereoscopy

15 seconds stereoscopy shot to be submitted.

Pick 15 seconds shot of any International or Domestic feature.

Convert the same shot from 2D to 3D stereo shot.

3D Generalist

Achieve maximum similarity of any one of the 3 reference shots enclosed. You may also choose a shot of

your choice which should be at par with the quality and difficulty standards of the enclosed 3 reference

shots.

One needs to do Modeling, Texturing and lighting of every prop and BG of the shot and match the outpu

to the best possible level.

Experimental Animation

This entry need not represent a defined field of production.

In a medium as free and as flexible as the drawn film, the field for experiment is endless, and it is through

keeping alive this sense of experiment, that animation could avoid some of the stereotyped repetitions of

established forms of design and technique to which it is so often subject.

Medium of production can be explored right from Sand animation, Stop motion with live action, stop

motion with photography, light paint animation to claymation.

Maximum 1 min experimental animation shot should be your final output which can be based on any

subject/theme of your choice.

Digital Film Making (DFM)

Live action film based on any social topic which directly connects to the public welfare.

Duration of max. 7 minutes.

The duration of the film should be 950x540.
