A Note from Molly Crabapple-

W hen I founded Dr. Sketchy’s in 2005, I never imagined my little alt.art class would grow to such proportions. But here we are three years later, and Dr. Sketchy’s is in 80 cities in 5 continents. We’ve toured Europe, played in museums, thrown international art shows, got feted in Playboy and the New York Times, and raised the standard that models are treated across the globe.

None of this could have happened without you. I started Dr. Sketchy’s, but you took the torch and lit fires around the world. You spread the Dr. Sketchy’s gospel, stood up to vice cops, worked insanely hard, postered cities, told anyone and everyone that art class could be run a different way.

So, I want to take the chance to say thank you. Thank you so much for bringing Dr. Sketchy’s to your hometown. Thank you for taking over the world.
