Town of Sussex Skatepark Rules

This park is for in-line skaters, BMX bicyclists, and skateboards. Please work together to ensure everyone has fun.

PARK HOURS 8:00am – 10:00pm

No loitering outside of these hours. Notices will be displayed when the park is closed due to special events. The Park will be locked during these events.

This park is a drugs and alcohol free zone. Animals are not permitted. Please help keep the area clean. Use the trash receptacles. Graffiti and Stickers are not permitted in the Park. Motor vehicles or foot traffic are not permitted. Use during inclement weather is prohibited. Outside obstacles and modifications to the elements are prohibited.

Please respect local residents who have helped provide this park for your enjoyment. No stereos or loud noise permitted without the prior approval of the Community Services Director.

Please be respectful to new/young skaters. This park is for everyone. Vandalism costs money. It’s your park. Respect it!

The Park is an unsupervised SKATE AT YOUR OWN RISK FACILITY.

Know your ability and skate accordingly.

It is recommended that:

• Users of the facility wear CSA approved helmets, wrist guards, and kneepads. • Users under the age of 13 have the supervision of a parent or guardian. • Users look over the site before skating to ensure that no debris has blown onto the ramps, etc. And please remember to use caution.
