Chick Corea$10,000August 8Jazz legend Chick Corea makes his Festival debut, and you can expect a thrill because Chick never plays it safe! He’ll be joined by the Spanish Heart Quartet, a flamenco-charged ensemble. They just won the Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album,

Rhiannon Giddens$7,500August 15A Grammy and MacArthur Genius grant-winner, Rhiannon Giddens is genre-busting musician who is redefining American music. Rhiannon is

also a recipient of the Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass, host of the Metropolitan Opera’s Aria Code podcast, and was a featured actress on the hit-TV show Nashville.

Time for Three$5,000August 22The fun-loving Time for Three are both classically trained virtuosos and inventive improvisers – their performances bring together classical, jazz,

Americana, and pop in winning ways. Their motto is: “If we like it, we play it.”

ECCO (East Coast Chamber Orchestra) $5000August 20, 21, and 22The peerless string orchestra ECCO (East Coast Chamber Orchestra) brings its signature enthusiasm

and “tonal radiance” back to Skaneateles. (New York Times) Consisting of lead players from the world’s great ensembles and orchestras, their performances are both virtuosic and full of joy.

Calidore String Quartet$4,000August 13 and 14The “astonishing” Calidore Quartet (L. A. Times) is the winner of almost every major ensemble competition, including

the 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant. The Quartet has drawn near universal praise, including “four more individual musicians are unimaginable, yet these speak, breathe, think and feel as one.” (Washington Post).

Claremont Trio$4,000August 27 and 28The Claremont Trio brings its signature blend of “passion and precision” (Boston Globe) to whatever it performs, including

Rubén Blades $4,000August 8Latin Music icon Rubén Blades has won 17 Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards, including the 2017 Latin Grammy Album of the Year for his album Salsa BigBand. An actor, as well as a musician,

Blades has played memorable roles in Robert Redford’s The Milagro Beanfield War, Spike Lee’s in Mo’ Better Blues, and Jack Nicholson’s The Two Jakes and this year returns to star in the AMC television series Fear the Walking Dead.

Davóne Tines $3,500August 27 and 28“A singer of immense power

and fervor,” (L A Times), bass-baritone Davóne Tines is the buzz of the music world. At age 33, he has emerged as one of the most expressive and versatile

voices of his generation. A native of Virginia and graduate of Harvard University, he is equally at home in opera, lieder, and spirituals.

The Brass Project$3,500August 6 and 7The “six superb brass players” of The Brass Project (Philadelphia Enquirer) are breathing new life into the brass ensemble. Hear the

brass ensemble redefined through their own arrangements of Baroque and Renaissance music as well as the nearly 40 short new works they have commissioned.

Pegasus Early MusicAugust 7$2,000Rochester-based Pegasus Early Music brings world-class instrumentalists and singers in early music to central New York.

They perform medieval, baroque, classical, and romantic repertoire on historical instruments in ways that are “highly unique…always original,” (Democrat & Chronicle).

Charles Neidich, clarinet$1,500August 26“He’s an artist of uncommon merit — a master of his instrument and, beyond” (The New Yorker). Neidich became the first clarinetist to win the Walter W. Naumburg Competition,
