School day begins at 7:50 AM
Classroom doors open at 7:45 AM
Dismissal
PK3 (full day) - 1st grade: 2:45 PM
2nd through 8th grade: 3:00 PM
Supervised by school staff
Entrance/Exit route map posted on Edline
PK3 – 2nd grade & siblings use 120th Street entrance at
the back of the school
3rd grade – 8th grade use 107 Ave entrance
Drop off begins at 7:30 a.m.
Pick up line for the back may begin at 2:30 p.m.
Pick up line for the front may begin at 2:45 p.m.
School issues name cards at the beginning of the
year to display on your car window
Adult accompanying student
Park in front parking lot
Please do not park in first two rows
closest to the school
Designated teacher parking
Walk with your child to the classroom
Hold their hand if necessary
Please purchase rain gear for your child
After School Care – till 6:00 PM
$6.00 per hour
Divided into 3 age groups

Junior High
Children who are not picked up by 3:00 PM will be sent
to After School Care
Parents will be charged extra for children who are
not picked up by 6:00 PM
Regular attendance is encouraged
Please call the school office the morning of your child’s absence.
A parent signed note is required upon return from absence
Please plan trips around school holidays
a note to the principal is required if a trip must be planned during school days
A child will be considered tardy if he/she is
not in the classroom by 7:50 a.m.
5 excused tardies within a marking period
Each additional tardy after the 5th in the quarter
will be charged a $30.00 fee
Parents must park and walk their child to the
school office after 7:50 a.m.
Procedures Students dismissed only to a “designated adult”
Designated adult form goes home the first week of school
names of all possible adults authorized to pick up your child include both parents names
For any deviations from regular pick-up
Send a note to school with the child on the morning of pick-up
Signed fax authorization required for last minute changes
Emergency Cards Please make sure that you have filled one out for each child.

All adults Must be Virtus trained
Fingerprinted by the Archdiocese of Miami
Sign a “Pledge to Promote a Safe Environment Form”
No adults allowed to volunteer in school without clearance from the Archdiocese

Room Parents 2 per classroom are designated at the beginning of the

Responsible to act as liaison between parents and teacher in organizing activities
Younger siblings are NOT permitted to be present during school or class activities that take place in the school day.
