SISC views the relationship it has with its

students’ parents and families as a partnership -

a partnership created to help the students be

successful. SISC also knows that when parents

are informed, students benefit. Therefore, all

parents of Preschool and Grades 1 & 2 students

are invited to A Coffee Chat and Orientation on

Saturday, August 17, 2019, 9:00 a.m.,

at the Luxembourg Hall. This is a wonderful

opportunity for parents to meet each other and

to meet their children’s teachers. They will also

be oriented to the school’s academic goals,

important policies, classroom environment & daily

activities, and ask questions or share their

concerns. We hope to see you there!

Aug. 21 is a

holidayMalacañang has declared August 21,

2019, Wednesday, a special non-working

holiday to commemorate the martyrdom

of former Senator Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino,

Jr., a hero of democracy in the

Philippines.

There will be no classes, and offices will

be closed in SISC on that day. Regular

classes will resume on August 22, 2019,

Thursday.

Update your

child’s health

recordAll students are required to have completed health

records on file in the school clinic. Accurate

records are of vital importance, specially when a

student has a pre-existing health problem, as this

will be used by the clinic staff as a reference

whenever a consultation for illness takes place.

Please return the filled out Annual Health Update

Form that was given to your child during the first

day of classes. You may give it back to your

child’s adviser.

A. ( ) I have received and read Students and Parents’ Bulletin A.Y. 2019-2020 No. 2.

B. ( ) I am allowing my caregiver/driver to attend the seminar on August 24, 2019.

________________________ __________________________ ____________________________

Student’s Name Level/Section Parent’s Signature & Email Address

ECED sponsors free seminar for

caregivers and driversNext to the immediate family, the caregiver is the person closest to a child. In cases where both

parents are working, the role of the caregiver and the driver takes added dimensions. They assume

responsibilities that could have a lasting effect on their wards.

Recognizing this, SISC’s Early Childhood Education Department (ECED) will conduct a free seminar

for caregivers and drivers of its students (from Preschool to Grade 2) on how to better nurture their

wards’ developing potentials. This will be held on August 24, 2019, Saturday, at the Munich Campus

Cafeteria from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

The Caregivers and Drivers will be given an orientation on how to care for their wards in terms of health

and safety. They will also have exercises on effective and acceptable discipline practices, and a

review of SISC’s regulations, policies and traffic rules.

In addition, they will get a chance to interact with their fellow caregivers and share experiences on

how to better help a child. We hope the parents can accord their caregivers this day off for the overall

good of their child. Please have them bring something for the potluck.
