Awarded on behalf of the Sir Wilfrid Laurier staff to help one or more deserving students proceed to post-secondary education. All staff members are canvassed, and through their

contributions provide funds for the bursaries being awarded. A committee of teachers examines each applicant’s potential for success based on their background both in school and out.

Tony Tapp was a Technology and Visual Arts teacher from 1991-2012. The memorial award is chosen by the Visual Arts and Technology Department and is presented to the student who has

had the most significant impact on the school through their use of art and technology during their time at Sir Wilfrid Laurier. Award introduced in 2019.
