I put just from memory which is approx. – you can check their respective website for fees/other promotions) Transport: Public Transport is available (SBS/SMRT buses and MRT/LRT Train Service) from 05.30 till mid night. You can get a standard ticket from automated ticket machines or a prepaid Magnetic strip card for $12 with 7 as balance. But the initial $5 is not refundable. Though many tourist attractions are near to MRT/Interchange – be prepared for a walk. How much SGD needed?For a family of two adults and two children, approx. 7000 SGD is needed for a 6 days stay here to cover hotel (3*/5*) stay, food, transport and attractions entry fee.

Hotel for dining: Vasantha Bhavan, Saravana Bhavan and Komala vilas/Komalas are located

mainly in Sarangoon area where you can find our Indian food.

Other veg. / non-veg. hotels of Indian type also located in little India Area only. Other Places you can find Chinese and Malay food courts.

Shopping and Purchase: Mustafa Stores – 24 hrs all days open.(Most of the shop all days open)

combination of shops. Bugis Street – like Regnathan Street – you can bargain a little. Little India – Arcade and verdant building

Thing to Remember: Carry of cigarettes, liquour are strightly avoided to avoid heavy customs fee. Chewing gum usage is banned here. Most of the days will experience rain for some time. Plan for an Umbrella always.
