Thank you for taking part in Sing for their Supper. We hope you have a fantastic time, and spread a little Christmas cheer in your community.

By coming together to sing carols and fundraise, you are helping farmers in Africa look forward to a Christmas free from hunger.

On Christmas day - like every day - thousands of children in Africa will spend the day hungry and go to bed without enough to eat, simply because their families haven’t been able to grow enough to feed and provide for them.

Families like Robinah’s. Robinah farms six acres of land in central Uganda. Her land has the potential to yield good quality crops such as peanuts, maize and beans. But in the past, despite Robinah’s hard work, her crops were all too frequently destroyed by pests and diseases, leaving her unable to feed and provide for her children - Peace, Praise and Joy.

Thanks to Farm Africa supporters, we taught Robinah new ways to farm her land and provided her with high quality seeds that were more resistant to pests and diseases. Robinah’s farm flourished and has grown into a productive business which means she is now able to provide three meals a day for Peace, Praise and Joy.

We would not have been able to help change the lives of Robinah and her family without your support. The money you raise will help ensure more children like Peace, Praise and Joy have a nutritious meal to eat on Christmas day, and every day.

So please enjoy singing the carols and songs we have chosen and smile at all the money you will be raising, because this Christmas you are truly making a difference by Singing for their Supper.
