STEAMpunk CampMonday, June 16 - Friday, June 20 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon$85.00 per week | Grades 7 - 12STEAMpunk: trendy artifacts resulting from mixing modern day technology with Industrial Age, vintage mechanical parts and a twist of Victorian creativity. Projects
include altered goggles, pocket watch, steampunk hat, STEAM engine art & more! Students will be utilizing problem solving, imagination, math and science skills during the creative process. This camp is presented by The Arts Alliance. Taught by Glenda Miles. Lunch is not provided. Limited to 20 students.
Waterbotics STEM CampMonday, June 23 - Friday, June 27 | 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM$125.00 per week | Grades 7 - 12Students will have fun learning math, science and technology skills by designing and building aquatic Lego robots and solving four design challenges. Taught by full time Sinclair Automation & Control Technology faculty, Paul Lawrence. Lunch provided. Limited to 20 students.
Guitar Building CampMonday, July 7 - Friday, July 11 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon$180.00 per week | Grades 7 - 12Students will build and keep their own electric guitar from a kit, learning along the way how everyday math and science concepts apply to the guitar. Students will also receive playing instructions, and will perform together at the end of the week.Taught by Sinclair Guitar Lab technician Matt Mongin and guitarist Robert Brown. Lunch is not provided. Limited to 15 students. Digital Photography CampMonday, July 14 - Friday, July 18 | 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM$75.00 per week | Grades 7 - 12Join us this summer to learn about the Art of Photography and the Joys of Photoshop! This five half-day camp will explore the wonders of the camera, the complexities of composition, and the crafting of outrageous digitally altered images. * Students must provide their own camera. Outside class work is required.Taught by Sinclair Art faculty Benjamin Hobbs. Students should bring their own flash drives. Lunch is not provided. Limited to 20 students.
