Since 2008, the Kids’ Chance of PA Walk/Run Events, hosted in both Harrisburg and Philadelphia, have provided a forum through which our organization has reached out to the community at large to share the message of Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania. These events not only serve to highlight our mission, but also to raise money in support of college scholarships for deserving students in need of assistance. With board support and the help of a very dedicated staff, the Walk/Run Events have helped Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania meet its scholarship goals while educating the communities we serve. The mission of Kids' Chance of PA is to provide scholarship grants for college and vocational education to children of Pennsylvania workers who have been killed or seriously injured in a work-related accident resulting in financial need.
