SINAMICS G120, SINUS-Filter Sizes A to C (380 - 480 V) Description This SINUS-Filter limits the voltage gradient and the capacitive re-charging currents which generally occur in inverter operation. This is the reason that when an SINUS-Filter is used, significantly longer screened motor feeder cables are possible and the motor lifetime reaches the same values which are achieved when the motor is connected directly on-line.

CAUTION Correct installation is essential for safe operation. Software version 3.1 or later V/f mode only. Software version 4.5 or later V/f, SLVC and VC

NOTES The SINUS-Filter, Sizes A to C, are designed as sub-chassis filters. Sizes A: A maximum of two sub-chassis components plus drive inverter are permissible. In this case, the SINUS-Filter must be mounted/installed as the lowest component. Size B and C: Only one sub-chassis component is permissible.

The following must be observed when using SINUS-Filters: Use filter only under load! Operation is only permissible with a pulse frequency of 4...8 kHz.

Make sure that the automatic pulse frequency reduction is disabled. Compulsary parameter settings: P0290 = 0 or 1 P1300 = 0 (V/f) / 20 (SLVC) / 21 (VC) P1800 = 4 ... 8 kHz P0230 = 4 (Custom SINUS/LC-Filter) Enter the inductive capacitive value from table 1 in P0233 (mH) and

P0234 (µF).

CAUTION Operation with a pulse frequency of 2 kHz will overheat the SINUS-Filter.

If the motor data identification (Mot-ID) run is not properly completed (F0041 or F07990) during commissioning of the drive inverter, the SINUS-Filter must be disconnected from the motor circuit and the Mot-ID run repeated.

The output frequency is limited to a maximum of 150 Hz.

These filters can be used for all SINAMICS G120 inverters, Sizes D to F with Power Modules PM230, PM240 and PM250. A minimum distance of 100 mm to adjacent components and metal parts is recommended.

SINAMICS G 120, SINUS-Filter Bauformen A bis C (380 - 480 V) Beschreibung Der SINUS-Filter begrenzt die Spannungssteilheit und die kapazitiven Umladeströme, die üblicherweise beim Umrichterbetrieb auftreten, deshalb sind bei Betrieb mit SINUS-Filter wesentlich längere geschirmte Motorzuleitungen möglich und die Lebensdauer des Motors erreicht Werte wie bei direktem Netzbetrieb.

VORSICHT Betrieb mit Sinusfilter:

- ab Softwarestand 3.1 zulässig für U/f-Steuerung

- ab Softwarestand 4.5 auch mit Vektorregleung

HINWEISE Die SINUS-Filter, Bauformen A bis C, sind als Unterbaufilter ausgeführt. Bauform A : Es sind maximal zwei Unterbaukomponenten plus Umrichter zulässig. Dabei muss der SINUS-Filter als unterste Komponente montiert werden. Bauformen B und C: Für die Bauformen B und C ist nur eine Unterbaukomponente zulässig.

Beim Einsatz von Sinus-Filter ist zu beachten: Filter darf nur mit angeschlossenem Verbraucher betrieben werden! Betrieb nur mit Pulsfrequenzen von 4….8 kHz zulässig. Es ist

sicherzustellen, dass auch die automatischen Pulsfrequenz-Reduzierungen deaktiviert sind.

Zwingend erforderliche Parametereinstellung : P0290 = 0 oder 1 P1800 = 4…8kHz P1300 = 0 (V/f) / 20 (SLVC) / 21 (VC) P230 = 4 (Sinus/LC-Filter vom Kunden) Den Induktiven und kapazitiven Wert aus Tabelle 1 in P0233 (mH) und

P0234 (μF) eintragen.

VORSICHT Betrieb mit Pulsfrequenz 2 kHz führt zur Zerstörung der Sinus-Filter.

Wird bei der Inbetriebnahme des Umrichters die Motordatenidentifi-kation (Mot-ID) nicht einwandfrei beendet (F0041 oder F07990), muss das Sinus-Filter aus dem Motorstromkreis entfernt und die Mot-ID wiederholt werden.

Die Ausgangsfrequenz ist auf maximal 150 Hz begrenzt.

HINWEISE Die SINUS-Filter, sind zur senkrechten Montage innerhalb des Schaltschrankes vorgesehen. Sie können für alle G 120-Umrichter mit Powermodul PM240 eingesetzt werden. VORSICHT Betrieb mit Pulsfrequenz 2 kHz führt zur Zerstörung der Filter. Filter nur mit angeschlossenem Verbraucher betreiben !

Wird bei der Inbetriebnahme des Umrichters die Motordatenidentifi-kation (Mot-ID) nicht einwandfrei beendet (F0041 oder F07990), muss das Sinus-Filter aus dem Motorstromkreis entfernt und die Mot-ID wiederholt werden.
