Wired Network SetupIfthereisaDHCPserveronthelocalareanetwork(LAN)viawiredconnection,thisplayerwillautomaticallybeallocatedanIPaddress.Aftermakingthephysicalconnection,asmallnumberofhomenetworksmayrequiretheplayer’snetworksettingtobeadjusted.Adjustthe[NETWORK]settingasfollow.
PreparationBeforesettingthewirednetwork,youneedtoconnectthebroadbandinternettoyourhomenetwork.
1. Select[ConnectionSetting]optioninthe[Setup]menuthenpressENTER(b).
2. Select[Yes]andpressENTER(b)tocontinue.Thenewconnectionsettingsresetthecurrentnetworksettings.
3. UseW/S/A/DtoselecttheIPmodebetween[Dynamic]and[Static].
Normally,select[Dynamic]toallocateanIPaddressautomatically.
IfthereisnoDHCPserveronthenetworkandyouwanttosettheIPaddressmanually,select[Static]thenset[IPAddress],[SubnetMask],[Gateway]and[DNSServer]usingW/S/A/Dandnumericalbuttons.Ifyoumakeamistakewhileenteringanumber,pressCLEARtoclearthehighlightedpart.
