Learn best with hands on materials that include audio and
visual accompaniment

Main Objective
My music class of fourth grade students will arrange their own
three chord song using classroom guitars, hands on instruction,
and a chord website by learning the parts of the guitar, the
strum-pluck-method, and three chords by the end of the week
with 90% accuracy.

Day-by-Day Break down
Day 1: Introduction, Strings, Frets, and How to Properly Hold the Guitar
Day 2: Review of strings and frets, D chord, strum-pluck-strum method.
Day 3: Review of D chord, A chord Day 4: Review of D and A chords, E chord Day 5: Children use the three chords to create their own short
song
