Report regarding the Seminar on Php Project Guidance

SESSION ON PHP and its Frameworks

CE/IT Department of Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology (SOCET) organized a

seminar on “PHP and its Frameworks” on 20th August 2015, Thursdy at 8:30 AM at Titanium

Hall, SOCET Campus. The Seminar was organized by Ms. Snehi Patel, Lecturer, Computer

Department. The seminar was conducted by Mr. Keyur Patel, Senior Software Developer,

Solution analysts. Around 84 students of CE and IT branch of 7th

semester participated in this

Session.

Mr. Keyur Patel shared his knowledge starting with the introduction of the PHP language. How

it works, how and where it can be used, followed by the introduction to various PHP

frameworks.

He made students aware about the technologies they need to learn along with PHP. He gave

certain examples of CMS like Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal and Magento and introduced them

briefly. He also guided the students with the importance of all frameworks and future scope of

PHP in IT industry.

The session was an interactive one in which the students were curious, enthusiastic as well as

keen to know more about the future scope of PHP. The session ended with the healthy

conversation between the expert and the students regarding the questions related to PHP and

other related technologies coming around.
