I am now the parent of a nonmetal! He’s a solid at room temperature. We named him Silicon, nicknamed Si. He was born in 1824 weighing in at 28.0855 amu at 14 protons tall (atomic number) The physician was Jons Jakob Berzelius, and we owe him a lot. He was born in Sweden and he’s got a great personality. He melts at 1414 degrees Celsius and freezes at 3265 degrees Celsius.
