An ExcursionIt was a fine afternoon in November. A bus

turned out of our school loaded with happy studentsand teachers. I was one of those in the bus and our

destination was the MacRitchie Reservoir. After a short ride, we were out of the city limits.

The air was fresh and cool and there were rows androws of trees lining the road. We soon arrived at ourdestination and alighted from the bus.

It was nice to exercise our legs again after thebus ride. We walked along a narrow path leading tothe reservoir. The path wound through the jungle likea snake. It was full of puddles and fallen leaves whichmade walking rather difficult. Suddenly, I heard a howl

and a splash from behind. On turning around, I sawthat Peter, a fat boy, had tripped over a branch andfallen into a puddle. Quickly, our teachers helped himto his feet and we continued on our way. ...

Step 1. Giving Pre-Test

Pre-Test (Example) Step 2. Mention some places (tourism destinations) and ask the

students whether they have visited one of the places. Step 3. Asking the students to take a part in Role Play. They should

interview their friends and ask anything about visiting a certain place. Step 4. After that students should tell the class about an excursion to

one or more places they have visited. And then they write their story inthe form of Retell Paragraph.

Step 5. Teacher then evaluate the students’ paragraph and makessome correction.

After correcting the students’ tasks, then teacher gives them a passageabout the Material. Then he or she asks the students to make acomparison between their paragraphs and teacher’s.

After doing the comparison, students should identify the problemsfound in their paragraph.

Then, they should collect all the problems and process them. After processing the data collected, they should verify them and finally

they draw a conclusion/conclusions. After that, they should present their finding in front of the class.
