Resin Art Range

Our range of Triple Glazed design options are constructed using hand-cut

bevels and beautifully textured glass pieces, which are assembled using

traditional stained glass methods into a Zinc or Brass cames. The decorative

glass is then encapsulated between two pieces of tempered safety glass to

give excellent thermal and sound insulation with the added benefit of an

easy to clean smooth surface.

Our range of Etch Effect designs combine a simple etched glass effect with

either traditional hand cut glass bevelled glass or truly stunning fused glass

elements. These are bonded to the surface to provide a 3-dimensional effect

that can not only be seen, but felt. These ranges use the finest materials and

the most up-to-date techniques to produce designs that are simple, yet

refract light beautifully, to create a focal point to your entranceway.

Our range of Overlay designs incorporate genuine lead strips, handmade

coloured effect films and handcrafted bevelled glass to create 21st century

decorative glass. All the decorative elements are on the outer pane of

tempered safety glass and you can choose from a wide range a of Pilkington

texture glass options for the inner pane to give varying levels of privacy. With

this technique it is also possible to create matching toplights and sidelights.

Our range of Resin Art designs are manufactured using state of the art

resin dispensing equipment to create the outline, the colours are then

hand painted. The Resins offer an alternative to lead profiles and create

much finer lines.

Sidelights & ToplightsFor our Overlay and Resin Art designs, it is

possible to offer matching decorative glass

for custom or composite sidelights and

toplights, or to simply compliment the designs

by using the same backing glass options.

For our Brass & Zinc Art designs, due to the

complex manufacturing techniques involved,

it is only possible to have matching decorative

glass by using a composite sidelight. For

non-composite sidelights and toplights, we

recommend the use of ‘glue-chip’ glass to

compliment the Brass & Zinc Art products.

Brass & Zinc Art RangesOur range of Brass and Zinc Art products aremanufactured by traditional methods with individually hand cut glass surrounded by Brassor lead came and the decorative leaf is then encapsulated between 2 layers of safety glass(either tempered/toughened glass or 6.4mmlaminated glass). The glass has been tested toEN12150 and EN14449 as applicable and theoverall sealed unit to the EN1279 standard. Asthese items are manufactured using traditionalart glass small seeds or blemishes in the glass are not deemed to be a fault and actually add to the products traditional look. The products are manufactured to exacting standards to reducethe amount of rattle that can occur when a dooris slammed. All products are designed to ensurethey pass our 50,000 slam test without breaking.

Fusion ArtThe Signature Fusion Art ranges are manufactured by a network of approved UKinsulated glass manufacturers. These doubleglazed units are manufactured to EN1279 andthe glass conforms to EN12150 or EN14449 for impact safety. Our Fusion Art designs are a combination of etched effect glass and handmade fused glass elements that are bondedusing high performance UV adhesives. The decorative leaf is normally the outer pane of aninsulated glass unit. In the manufacture of Fusedglass small bubbles do occur and are part of thebeauty of the product, therefore small imperfections are not deemed as faults.

Overlay ArtThe Signature Overlay Art ranges are manufactured by a network of approved UKinsulated glass manufacturers. These doubleglazed units are manufactured to EN1279 and the glass conforms to EN12150 orEN14449 for impact safety. All the materialsused in the manufacture of the Overlay Artranges are manufactured by RegaLead. The decorative design is on the outer pane of the insulated glass unit and we therefore recommend that Antique or Brass coloured electroplated leads are used as they are moreweather resistant. These lead finishes should only be cleaned with warm soapy water and the use of strong solvent based cleaners is not recommended. The coloured fims used in thedesigns are manufactured using high qualitypolyesters and UV stable inks and are guaranteed not to fade more that 10% fromtheir original colour over the 10 year warrantyperiod.

Resin ArtThe Signature Resin Art ranges are manufacturedby a network of approved UK insulated glassmanufacturers .These double glazed units aremanufactured to EN 1279 and the glass conforms to EN12150 or EN14449 for impactsafety. The outline resins are applied using computer controller machinery to ensure an accurate plot of the design. The colours are applied later by hand and small imperfectionscan occur in the paint which should not bedeemed as a fault. The technology used is manufactured and supplied by CadRam and the materials have been extensively tested forweathering performance and durability on theouter pane of an insulated glass unit. The coloursare guaranteed not to fade more that 10% from their original colour over the 10 year warranty period.

Door Blinds and ShadesThe Signature range of door Blinds are constructed as 26mm units and can only beused with the glazing cassette supplied. The blind and shade systems are magnetically controlled and fitted inside the cavity of a certified toughened glass insulated glass unit.The products are guaranteed against discolouration and mechanical failure for 10years for the blinds and 5 years for the shades.The products are rigorously tested and in thelaboratory are operated through 10,000 cyclesto ensure years of reliable operation.

Venting SashThe Signature venting Sash is a PVC sash window designed to fit into a standard ½ glazeddoor opening and is only suitable for use with44mm door slabs. The product carries a 10 yearguarantee covering mechanical performance, IG unit quality and water resistance. The productis supplied as a complete system without theneed for a glazing cassette and therefore is onlyavailable in white. The Glass units in the VentingSash are manufactured using warm edge technology from Intercept as opposed to conventional aluminium spacer bars and are certified. The complete system has been testedsuccessfully to the Canadian standard CAN/CSAA440-M90 standard which covers air and waterinfiltration, wind load resistance, ease of operation and strength and resistance to forced entry.
