Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...Dr. Rocker believes that cutting edge medical care begins as a conversation betweenphysician and patient, evolving through knowledge and understanding so that a mutualtrust is established. Then a highly personalized healthcare plan can be agreed upon with the goals of improved health and a better life.
In the MDVIP-affiliated primary care practice, each patient is special and treated like family. In this concierge-style practice we have time to explore all the options and make decisions together. Dr. Rocker has been practicing family medicine in Oviedo, FL for over 25 years, serving patients from all over Central Florida. He is affiliated with bothOrlando Health and Florida Hospital healthcare systems. He is an assistant clinicalprofessor of family medicine for two medical schools and has taught hundreds ofmedical students over the last 20 years. He also serves as a mentor for pre-med students from his alma mater, the University of Central Florida.

2017 Audit Results – No Discrepancies Found
The SWRA Board of Directors would like to thank the Association members who participated in the required annual audit of our financial activities. The members
who volunteered for this audit were:
Jasbir BhatiaKarl Tjornbrugh
Jean Versino
Auditors’ Comments1. SWRA should not be making charitable contributions.
The SWRA 2017 budget has a line for “CHARITY/DONATIONS with an expenditure of $300.00. This
was a donation to an organization that provided a service applicable to our members to which the
BOD decided to make donation. As such, it was not a charity. The word “CHARITY” has been
removed for the 2018 budget.
2. The cost of Liability Insurance for the organization seemed excessive
The BOD determined that it would be prudent to obtain Liability Insurance for the protection of the
organization and all the people that help to organize our programs. The cost we are being charged for
this insurance seemed to be consistent with costs to other similar organizations. If anyone knows of a
better deal, let the BOD know.
3. Please provide a simple balance sheet for 12/31/2016 and 12/31/2017 showing the organization’s
assets and liabilities.

“Party for a Purpose” will take place at M-Motors in Winter Park April 20th from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
The “M Lounge” is the newest event venue in Orlando, located at 2000 Orange Ave, Suite 300, Orlando, Fl 32804. Proceeds raised will benefit Florida Hospital Cancer Institute and fund an Ovarian Cancer Immunotherapy program, to be conducted right here in Central Florida. Every 23 minutes another
woman is diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in the U.S. Immunotherapy has the potential for successful treatment of such cancers in the future.
M-Motors has a unique 60 car vintage auto museum as well as auto memorabilia throughout the venue to create a great back drop for a silent auction, food, drinks, wine tasting, live music & more. At the event, awards will be presented for a golf tournament, played earlier that day.
General admission tickets for the event are $100, but our SWRA members have been offered a half off discounted ticket price of $50 each for the event. These discounted tickets can be purchased with the discount code “Party50” at the website www.playingforacause.org. Additional information can also be obtained on this website.
