Anonymous Quote

A type of quote used in eSales to represent the shopping cart of a user who has not logged in

Uses a default price list Gets converted to a persistent quote when the user logs in

Persistent Cart

A type of quote used in eSales to represent the shopping cart for a returning registered user

Uses the price list associated with the user’s primary account Automatically sets the shopping cart contents to those that were

added by the user during his or her last session Is converted to a Quotation when the user checks out

Template

A user-saved group of items Allows users to save groups of items that are frequently purchased

together No prices are associated with items in a template

Many properties related to quotes and orders are managed as lists of values (LOVs) For example, the quote types are LOVs

To add a custom payment method: Use Siebel Call Center to add a new record to the

PAYMENT_METHOD_CODE list of values Use Tools to create a new payment detail applet

Tax Exemption Codes

GLOBAL_TAX_EXEMPTION LOV contains a list of tax exemption codes

For tax-exempt customers, the code can be recorded in the Payments tab of the quote/order

Customize this LOV to adapt the set of codes for your business requirements
