Finding An Agent That’s Right For You
The Anthony Nolan Charity was started by Round
Table 40 years ago this year and many members of
41 club have done community or fund raising work
for them during their Table days. In their
Anniversary year we are working in partnership with
them and they have dedicated pages of their web
site to us. See www.anthonynolan.org/41club
more information.
In conjunction with the Appeal we have launched an initiative called the 40/40 challenge. It’s
object is to get a minimum of 40 clubs working side by
40 new people registered as a potential donor on the Anthony Nolan register.
Each challenge will be undertaken in 1 day and organised by the participating clubs at whatever
event they consider suitable. In addition to t

Agenda
On the last Friday afternoon of May the tablers
shadows of the Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain on the African continent and the highest free
standing mountain in the world. Some were meeting each other for the first time; others are long time
Round Table veterans. Everybody was in Arusha, Tanzania for the big celebration of 60 years of Round
Table fellowship in East Africa. Those 60 years were not always a walk in the park. It’s no secret that
RTEA had hit an all time low a couple of years back.

The weekend started off with a welcome party with drinks and the special mountain po

The meeting itself went smooth with the induction of the new chairman of RT Arusha 14, Inder Singh
Soorae. A joyful moment for everybody who attended. President Idris pointed out that this is only the

AGM in the history of Round Table Germany attracted nearly
900 guests city of Aachen, including dozens of Ladies, Old
Tablers and more than 100 international Tablers from alle
over the world.
For the 60th Anniversary of Round Table Germany, Aachen
put together a fantastic program - including a legendary pre
tour for the 100 + international guests. Short walking
distances, excellent locations, good food

When I first saw it, I had good laugh, because itseems to be normal in Germany that you need acontract for everything...even for friendship.Fortunately, reality is different.
We live and love side by side with Round Table,Tangents and Old Table (the German 41ers). We tryto have regular meetings with Round Table Germanyon a national and a local level with the Ladies, Tablersand Tangents anto.
What else can I say? It´s good to get in contact withthe men and the "old"way of thinking and we can only profit from this aswell as the experience from the elderlythis is why it works so well.
For me, it´s an honour to listen to our Tangents asthey are interesting to talk to. Round Table works alittle different but this difference is important tounderstand why things are as they are.
