Before Sia made her break through she started low key creating songs with a genre totally different to what she produces in current day. Her style was very indie and soul, her new genre consists of pop, dance songs. In her younger years of making music, she wasn’t a popular icon in the music industry as her music wasn’t played on the radio or any music stations. This is where she decided to change her look, her music genre and the way people viewed her.

Sia became close with Maddie Ziegler, she decided to use the young dancer in all her music videos as an icon as she felt she was ‘too old’ to be the main feature when the music videos get published to the music channels. Sia became more popular within the industry and her songs such as ‘Chandelier’ and ‘Cheap Thrills’ became Number 1 in the American and English charts. Sia’s albums show the famous ‘two coloured wig’ as she became a big hit with the public and the music business.

Sia has a unique view on products and this is what fans are really attracted too when following her through her music career.

‘SIA’ is also branded the singers merchandise, they wanted to show the public that fans are proud to be following Sia and her music. The style of writing choice Sia has used is shown on all her store products and also her website.

The Break through for Sia Maddie Ziegler, a young aspiring dancer who was on the American Show Dance Moms was excitingly direct messaged on the social media site Twitter by the famous singer song writer Sia. Maddie was wanted for her new music video and just in two weeks after they two had spoke, she was flew out to LA to perform in the video of Chandelier. In a pervious interview Maddie stated ‘I didn’t think it would be this big’ from then Maddie life had changed and so did Sia’s. On the singers music website, Maddie is the main focus point. As soon as you click on the link, Maddie is the background and it shows a moving picture of her in the gloomy, natural look she has in every video she has been involved in with Sia. Maddie Zieglar has been in around three of Sia’s music videos and said to be a future face as they share a close friendship together.
