What is Monitor.

. Monitor is a standard output devices. Which shows the out put information. Monitor is one of the important parts of computer ,because with out monitor system can not work .So that this is the standard out put device.3

Types Of Monitor In general, Two types1. CRT (cathode ray tube)

2.Flat- panel

4

Structure of CRT MonitorThe back of the monitors screen is coated with phosphors. The screens phosphor coating is organized into a grid of dotsPixel the smallest number of phosphor dots that the gun can focus on is called a pixel. Some electron guns can focus on pixels as small as a single phosphor dot

5.

WorkNear the of a monitors housing is an electron gun.The gun shoots beam electrons through a magnetic coil.Which aims the beam at the front of the monitor.6

AdvantageCRT monitor systematically aims at every pixel the screen.Circuitry driving monitor. In a monochrome monitor. In a color monitor works like a monochrome one.In a color monitor arranged in a triangle.

7

DisadvantageHeavy weight.Occupy more place.High power consumption.High radiation and supports low resolution.8

Flat - panel monitorAlthough flat- panel monitors have been used primarily on portable computers.High resolution.Take up less desk place.9

Structure of Flat-panel monitor

10

Types of flat-panelLCD Monitors.LED Monitors.OLED Monitors.Ultra-High Definition Monitors11

LCD Monitor1. Stands for liquid crystal display.2.Light weight.3.Occupy less place4.12 v power consumption.5.Low radiation and support high resolution.

12

LED Monitor1.Stands for Light Emitting Diode.2.Such like LCD monitor.3.Better picture quality than LCD.

13

OLED Monitor 1.Organic Light Emitting Diodes .2.Light up individual picture.3.It work with out a back light.4.More energy efficient while producing vivid color.5.Deep black levels .14

Ultra-High Definition MonitorUHD takes 2 HD technology and add more pixel.2.Called 4k technology.3.More than 8 million pixel in UHD(3240 by 2160).15

Comparing monitorSize.Resolution.Refresh rate.Dot pitch.

16

Size 1. A monitors size affects how well you can images.2.Monitor are measured diagonally.3.Viewing area .17

Resolution 1.Resolution refers to sharpness or clarity.2.Determinet by the number of pixel.3.Expressed a matrix.18

Refresh rate1.Number of time per second .2. Important because phosphor dot fade.3. The high refresh rate.19

Dot pitch1.Dot pitch specification for computer display.2.Differing image and pixel aspect ratios.3. Undocumented .20
